The Milford Cares Program organizes our membership to provide help for local families in our community, to provide a Thanksgiving Meal.

This event was founded by Jack Macarone, who was a long time member of our club. Back in 2017 we had a few turkeys left over from our Family Fun Day. Jack suggested adding the trimmings and donating to local families in need. Five families were able to benefit that year, and each year the event has grown to supply a meal to 15 families in 2022.  

Since Jacks' passing, his Nephew, Ryan Bremmer, has picked up the torch and is keeping the program moving forward in his memory. From Jack's vision to the generosity of the Milford family, we are proud to serve those who need the help here at home.

The organization works with local school guidance counselors and social workers to determine which families need the assistance, while preserving their privacy and dignity.

This year we have identified 11 families to help.  You can sign up below to help with donations. By signing up below you are agreeing to purchase and drop off the food donations on November 18th, 2023 between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.  

We have now joined with the Marine Corp in their proud tradition of distributing toys to families in need through the Toys for Tots Program.
